時代革命 Revolution of Our Times
Movie Introduction
"Revolution of Our Times" takes the revision of the Hong Kong Anti-extradition movement. Through the perspectives of seven groups of protesters in the movement, it demonstrates the background of the movement and the personal feelings of the participants. The film initially introduced the historical background of the handover of sovereignty in 1997, then described in detail the process of the demonstration movement that began in the 2019 summer, including key events such as the June 12 protesters occupying the Legislative Council, the July 21 attack in Yuen Long, and the clashes at the Polytechnic University in November.
In July 2021, "Revolution of Our Times" was invited to the world premiere in the "Special Screening" section of the Cannes Film Festival in France, which remained confidential until the last minute of the screening. The film shocked worldwide media and attracted international attention. Variety, an authoritative film media, even reported with the headline "Cannes Film Festival made a diplomatic gamble".

《時代革命》以香港逃犯條例修訂為風波主題，透過反送中運動中七組不同示威者嘅的視角，展現出運動嘅宏觀背景同參與者嘅個人感受。影片起初介紹1997年主權移交之歷史背景，後詳盡描述住2019年夏天開始的示威運動過程，包括612示威者佔領立會、721元朗襲擊以及11月理工大學衝突等關鍵事件。
2021年7月，《時代革命》獲邀在法國康城影展「特別放映」單元世界首映，直到放映前最後一刻仍然保密。電影震撼外媒、引發國際矚目，電影權威媒體《綜藝報》（Variety）更以「康城影展做了外交豪賭」作為標題報導。
